As part of the continuation of the consulting mission carried out in January 2019, a joint mission of the French Ministry of Army (CECLANT Operations) and GoGIN (Yvonnick Lanoë) was conducted from March 25 to April 1, 2019 at the ICC (Interregional Coordination Centre) in Yaounde.
This mission included an operational organization component and a budgetary component. At the end of the mission, two separate documents were delivered to the ICC executive director.
The first (by CECLANT OPS) suggests to amend the organization of the Yaounde architecture to ease the execution of missions, streamline the flow of information, data and recommendations, position the technical functions at the right level, involve the Regional centres in the management of the Yaoundé architecture.
The second (by GoGIN) presents an economic development plan for the 2019 to 2021 fiscal years that addresses a prospective vision of ICC finances with regard to its missions. It also initiates a global reflection incorporating the budgetary and financial aspect in the functioning of the Maritime Interregional Coordination Center.
